Scholastic Incorporated released several visually different variations of “Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them” from author J. K. Rowling. This fictional book exists within the Harry Potter universe as a textbook. After the film franchise ended, Warner Brothers developed a new spin-off installment under the same name. With the Potter craze back on the market, a problem arose between Pentagram’s identity and the ones fans were use to.  Separation, variations, and inconsistancies causes confusion in identities affecting the product’s overall charm, magic, and also “tainting’ the original vision of J.K. Rowling. By exploring the middle-ground between modern fantasy and nostalgic charm, it may create a stronger and timeless identity for both novel reboots and films to come.
